Caja Morelia Valladolid, the second-largest membership savings and credit cooperative in Mexico, needed to modernize its data center and rapidly expand secure mobile and remote banking to support members through the pandemic and sustain growth. To achieve greater agility, efficiency and simpler service delivery, Caja Morelia Valladolid selected Dell Technologies to build a hybrid cloud, service-oriented infrastructure using Dell VxRail hyperconverged systems and Dell Data Domain for backup and protection.

Dell Technologies delivered a modernized data center and hybrid-cloud platform that enabled a new mobile app, debit and credit card features, faster credit approvals and pandemic assistance programs. The transformation drove measurable impact: members completed a record 86,200 financing agreements in 2021 and more than 75,000 people used assistance programs, while the cooperative—serving over 570,000 members across 95+ branches—gained faster, more secure omnichannel banking and improved product agility.
