DIGISTOR collaborates with Dell Technologies OEM Solutions to design advanced, secure server solutions

DIGISTOR, a maker of secure removable SSD solutions for military, defense, law enforcement, medical research and media customers, needed a server partner and the right technology to extend its VaultDisk portfolio into enterprise and rugged deployments. To address more challenging client requirements and grow market share, DIGISTOR partnered with Dell Technologies OEM Solutions and based its new offerings on Dell EMC PowerEdge XR2 rugged servers and PowerEdge R640 data‑center servers.

Working with Dell Technologies and its Custom Factory Integration (CFI) team, DIGISTOR engineered and validated server-based VaultDisk solutions that enforce FIPS 140‑2–aligned drive security, use digitally signed firmware to prevent tampering, and allow quick, secure NVMe SSD removal/reinsertion; CFI validated, launched, produced and supported 98% of DIGISTOR’s solutions. The partnership reduced client risk through extensive pre-production testing, ensured regulatory compliance and scalable delivery, and positioned DIGISTOR to win new accounts and expand existing contracts with validated, enterprise-grade secure storage solutions.
