Dell Technologies helps TNQ Technologies write a new chapter of business resilience

TNQ Technologies, a global leader in Scientific, Technical, Medical (STM) publishing, faced an urgent IT challenge when the COVID-19 lockdown forced a sudden shift to remote work. CISO Prabhakar Ramakrishnan needed to accelerate the company’s infrastructure roadmap and provide reliable remote connectivity and support for heavy, niche applications, so TNQ engaged Dell Technologies (with partner NewWave Computing) to virtualize desktops using VMware Horizon and Dell VxRail.

Dell Technologies deployed a VDI/SDDC solution—implementing VMware Horizon on Dell VxRail—and fast-tracked logistics and deployment, completing the project in 30 days versus the planned 66 and delivering hardware three weeks early. The rollout virtualized about 20 in-house applications, enabled secure remote access and speedy provisioning, improved desktop uptime, boosted security and manageability, expanded pan‑India hiring, and reduced TCO, giving TNQ Technologies measurable business continuity and resilience.
