A Dell Technologies Case Study
Daiwa Real Estate faced mounting network management and latency problems as it moved more workloads to the public cloud and needed to enable widespread remote work and non‑disruptive Windows 10 upgrades. To resolve frequent VPN drops, lack of remote management across its eight Japan locations, and slow application performance, Daiwa Real Estate turned to Dell Technologies, deploying Dell EMC SD‑WAN Edge 3400 and 640 appliances (and SD‑WAN Virtual Edge in Azure and AWS) with Dell EMC ProSupport Plus.
Dell Technologies implemented SD‑WAN Edge hardware and virtual edges, enabling local breakout, per‑application control and GUI‑based remote management; the delivery and install were fast and collaborative. As a result, Dell Technologies helped Daiwa Real Estate eliminate connectivity interruptions and latency, boost network speeds and employee satisfaction, cut new‑site provisioning from one month to one day (saving several hundred thousand Yen), and reduce operational costs through simplified monitoring and traffic optimization.
