Clark County, Nevada, Pivots 10,000 Employees into a Remote Workforce

Clark County, Nevada — an $8 billion public enterprise serving nearly 2.4 million residents with 10,000 employees — faced an urgent need in March 2020 to move its workforce offsite so essential services could continue during the COVID-19 lockdown. The county turned to Dell Technologies (working with VMware) to quickly deploy unified workspace solutions, including Dell Latitude laptops and VMware Workspace ONE, to enable secure remote access.

Dell Technologies helped the county virtually image and distribute devices and implement Workspace ONE to manage access, apps, and endpoints, allowing staff to boot up and work from anywhere. As a result, Clark County, Nevada pivoted 10,000 employees to a remote work environment in a matter of weeks, deployed 1,000+ laptops in about 10 weeks, and maintained seamless service delivery for residents.
