Chitale Dairy, India’s largest dairy based in Bhilawadi, faced fragmented milk collection, transport challenges, and inconsistent milk quality while aggregating roughly 60 million liters annually from many small producers. To modernize herd management and improve productivity, Chitale Dairy turned to Dell Technologies, using VMware virtualization and cloud-based solutions alongside IoT sensors and analytics.

Dell Technologies implemented a cloud and virtualization platform with connected sensors and centralized analytics to deliver real-time animal‑health signals, high-availability networks, and scalable compute. The solution lets farmers react faster, optimize breeding and herd management, and has supported operations across more than 200,000 cows—driving yield improvements in some cases of 2–10x and strengthening local economic opportunities.
