BCS Financial Group, a leading Russian financial services firm, needed to rapidly expand a new brokerage branch format across remote regions while meeting strict information‑security and data‑protection requirements. To avoid the traditional model of local servers, desktops and on‑site administrators—and to cope with unstable communications in distant locations—BCS turned to Dell Technologies for a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) approach using VMware Horizon and Dell Wyse 3040 thin clients (plus Wyse Management Suite and Dell EMC Unity storage).

Dell Technologies built and deployed a thin‑client VDI solution that lets branches go live as soon as furniture is in place: staff simply plug in Wyse terminals and connect. The Dell Technologies implementation cut branch setup time from weeks to days, enables trading software and standard VDI applications, requires no permanent IT staff on site, maintains regulatory compliance, and allows centralized, simultaneous updates across hundreds of workstations.
