CompuNet Inc., a Boise-based systems integrator, helped a new customer supporting 2,500 employees across 50 locations who was struggling with an outdated, disparate IT estate cobbled together from acquisitions. The environment had critical applications scattered across multiple datacenters and needed consolidation, better management and disaster recovery, and a reduction in vendor complexity — prompting CompuNet to leverage Dell EMC’s VSPEX Proven Infrastructure to address those challenges.

Using Dell EMC’s VSPEX validated designs and broad integration with Cisco and VMware, CompuNet consolidated the customer into a primary datacenter and a DR warm site and virtualized the environment to support 2,500 users across 50 locations.
