NTT Europe Online (NTTEO), a leading European managed hosting and security provider, needed to fully meet PCI DSS and implement two‑factor authentication for anyone accessing IT systems that handle customer credit card data. To solve this, NTTEO deployed Dell EMC’s RSA SecurID two‑factor authentication to secure remote access for field engineers and streamline PCI compliance across its data centers.

Dell EMC implemented RSA SecurID hardware tokens and a multi‑tenant authentication platform (with support from RSA Professional Services), enabling more than 100 NTTEO engineers to securely access customer environments and segregate user IDs on a single platform. The Dell EMC solution achieved PCI DSS authentication requirements across NTTEO’s European operations, accelerated customers’ PCI certification, and allowed NTTEO to offer a unified, competitive managed‑IT service for PCI‑governed customers, reducing complexity and time to market.
