Global distribution and IT solutions business relies on Dell EMC Support

Amadeus IT Group SA, a global travel distribution and IT solutions business, needed a highly available, consistent worldwide infrastructure to support more than 49 PB of storage, 3.8 billion transactions per day (peaking at 55,000 TPS), and thousands of developers. To simplify vendor interactions and ensure operational consistency across global deployments, Amadeus relied on Dell EMC, using Dell EMC Isilon and Dell EMC VNX platforms and selecting Dell EMC Premium Support and a dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM).

Dell EMC delivered Premium Support, a TAM, Secure Remote Services (ESRS) and access to the Dell EMC Community Network, with the TAM proactively monitoring systems, planning upgrades, applying best practices and producing operational reports across five Isilon clusters and seven VNX systems. The Dell EMC engagement provided a single contact for service issues, fast access to technical experts and measurable impact—most notably resolving a VNX Severity‑1 incident within an hour—helping Amadeus maintain uptime, streamline support and drive consistent platform evolution.
