Danbro, a UK accounting and payroll services firm with about 200 employees and more than 6,000 independent contractor clients, faced serious IT constraints as it planned to double revenue: servers at capacity, slow Microsoft applications, difficult-to-manage storage, incomplete tape backups, and weak disaster recovery. Working with Synapse 360, Danbro selected Dell EMC’s VSPEX Proven Infrastructure (including EMC VNX unified storage, EMC Data Domain deduplication, VMware vSphere/vCenter SRM and Cisco UCS/Catalyst components) to modernize storage, backup, virtualization and DR.

Dell EMC implemented the VSPEX solution and Data Domain backups, moving Danbro to a 100% virtualized, centrally managed environment. The deployment was live in five weeks, cut backup times by about 21 hours per week (from up to 24 hours to under four hours), freed senior staff roughly 20 hours per week, improved application performance and high availability, and delivered reliable disaster recovery—enabling Danbro to scale operations and better serve higher‑end clients.
