EMC helps MSM entertain millions of global viewers

Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. (MSM), part of Sony Entertainment Network and one of India’s leading broadcasters, faced growing inefficiencies from paper-based contracts, slow change-management and authorization workflows, and lengthy travel-and-entertainment (T&E) expense processing across its offices. To address these challenges, MSM engaged Dell EMC and implemented an enterprise content management solution—EMC Documentum 6—alongside VMware server virtualization and SAP integration to digitize and centralize document and workflow management.

Dell EMC deployed EMC Documentum as a central repository and workflow engine, automating contract management, change/authorization requests and T&E processes with mobile approvals and SAP connectivity. The solution cut document retrieval from days to seconds, increased personnel efficiency by about 30%, standardized travel reimbursements to three working days, improved security and business continuity, and supported a move toward a paperless, greener office.
