Wyndham Worldwide, a global hospitality leader, faced aging SAN infrastructure that was inhibiting business growth and cloud adoption across its Oracle, Microsoft, and VMware environments. To modernize and standardize its data centers, Wyndham engaged Dell EMC and leveraged Dell EMC Education Services’ Cloud Curriculum (EMC Cloud Curriculum) to build internal cloud expertise and drive an industry‑standard approach to infrastructure and cloud planning.

Dell EMC implemented a multi‑pronged solution—deploying two VMAX arrays and three VNX unified storage systems, beginning rollouts of Data Domain and Avamar, providing an on‑site EMC Resident and consulting for SharePoint and Exchange migrations (with VCE Vblock support), and delivering Cloud Architect training that led to certification for Wyndham’s infrastructure lead. As a result, Wyndham achieved SAN modernization and a cloud deployment guided by industry best practices, clearer governance for cloud workloads and security, and measurable outcomes including the storage array deployments and staff certification facilitated by Dell EMC.
