How Xilinx Optimized L&D with Degreed and Mind Tools

Xilinx, a 4,200-employee technology company based in Silicon Valley, was struggling with an outdated LMS, limited training options, and managers with constrained budgets while competing for top engineering talent. To create a more accessible, developer-friendly learning experience and increase ownership of professional development, Xilinx selected Degreed (using the Degreed platform) and added Mind Tools content to power a new program called LearnX.

Degreed built a learner-driven LearnX environment with Pages, Pathways and Skill Plans and seamless Mind Tools integration; the result was rapid engagement — 86% of employees logged in at least once in the first nine months, 43% logged in over five times, more than 44,000 learning items were completed and 94,000 shares/recommendations recorded. Mind Tools logged over 5,300 page views (accessed by 800+ employees) and 47% of users viewed five or more resources, helping Xilinx optimize content discovery, reduce time spent searching, and improve development outcomes.
