Swisscom partners with Decentriq to create confidential surveys

Swisscom, Switzerland’s leading ICT provider, needed a better way to run industry benchmarking and sensitive surveys without relying on a trusted third-party middleman. In banking, this was especially challenging because participants were hesitant to share confidential data through external aggregators, which reduced participation and made benchmarking slower, more costly, and harder to manage.

Swisscom partnered with Decentriq and used its Confidential Insights product to enable direct, confidential collaboration on survey data with no exposure of individual responses. The solution uses confidential computing so only aggregated results are visible, helping Swisscom’s e.foresight team run a survey of 30 Swiss banks on online mortgages and attract six additional bank participants, a 20% increase in participation.
