Trend Motors Volkswagen in Rockaway, N.J., set out to go paperless and deliver a seamless digital buying experience but needed consumer and deal data flowing across a single ecosystem. General Manager Frank Maher chose DealerSocket and its suite (CRM, DealerFire website, Desk Log and RevenueRadar®) to centralize communications, desking and customer data and accelerate the dealership’s move off paper.
DealerSocket implemented a connected CRM ecosystem, customized opt-in texting, RevenueRadar data mining and a VW Maturity Manager integration, and helped replace paper logs with the CRM’s Desk Log. In two months of personalizing the opt-in message the store saw a 36% increase in texts sent and 51% more texts received; DealerSocket’s tools also improved lease-retention outreach, visibility and sales accountability while enabling future digital retailing.
