The Ascott Limited, a Singapore-based owner-operator of serviced residences (Ascott, Citadines, Somerset and The Crest Collection), launched The Crest Collection in 2016 to target corporate accounts and frequent business travelers with four luxury properties in Bangkok and Paris. As a new label, Ascott needed to build brand awareness and drive bookings across seven key markets (Australia, China, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK).
Ascott partnered with dataxu and its OneView cross-device platform to run prospecting and targeted retargeting campaigns, mapping visitor journeys and using third-party data, whitelists and private exchanges with brand-safety reporting. The campaign delivered 53.3M impressions to 26.4M unique users—well above KPIs—generated conversions in Hong Kong, Japan, France and Australia, revealed desktop as the primary conversion channel (with mobile driving engagement), and showed prospecting produced 90% of clicks to build the retargeting pool.
