Metapeople, a digital marketing agency, worked with a leading retailer to drive prospecting and increase online sales while lowering the cost-per-order. The challenge was to inspire prospects and existing customers to order more frequently and to reduce the client’s CPO against a defined target.

Using DataXu’s real-time advertising platform plus Metapeople’s run-of-network and retargeting strategy, the team optimized creative by region, time of day and ad format. The campaign delivered a CPO 16% below the client’s maximum target and grew new customers by 26%. Analytics also identified the top-performing creative (468×60 in Nielsen regions, options 3a/3b), strongest results among 25–34 year‑olds, and peak performance in southeast France on weekend evenings.
