BBC Advertising and dataxu partnership enables advertisers to further engage BBC’s premium audiences

BBC Advertising partnered with dataxu to help advertisers reach the publisher’s premium audiences across BBC.com and other sites that generate 1.8 billion monthly page impressions from more than 95 million unique browsers. Facing the need to monetize audience data without sacrificing user experience, BBC wanted a way to amplify audience value, provide more engagement opportunities for advertisers and extend reach internationally.

Using dataxu’s TouchPoint™ Audience Extension and lookalike modelling, BBC pushed segmented audiences into real‑time activation to safely target those users across the open web and devices with no extra creative work. Campaigns delivered strong results: a major bank saw a 0.39% CTR and +284,000 visits in four weeks (daily visits rose from 30 to 10,480), while an airline achieved a 0.8% CTR (over 10x industry average) and +36,994 visits in two weeks, enabling increased budgets and scale.
