Volvo, through Volvo Construction Equipment India, was looking to develop new machine models tailored to Indian market requirements without compromising on quality, safety, or competitiveness. Danfoss engaged with the Volvo team early in the project, helping define revised specifications, understand duty cycles, and select the most suitable hydraulic components from its product portfolio with a focus on total cost of ownership. This close collaboration contributed to the successful development of the new Volvo machines and earned Danfoss Power Solutions India Volvo India’s “Project Development Excellence Award.”
