The customer, Sacmi Beverage, faced the challenge of designing highly competitive bottling lines for their client, Fonte Tavina, that required maximum productivity, processing speed, and energy efficiency. The vendor, Danfoss, provided the VLT® FlexConcept drive system, which included VLT® AutomationDrive FC 302 frequency converters and high-efficiency VLT® OneGearDrive gear motors.

Danfoss's solution enabled a sensorless control system that eliminated the need for numerous photocells and sensors, simplifying maintenance and improving layout efficiency. This resulted in a global system output exceeding 89%, energy savings of at least 20%, and the capability to produce over 200 million bottles per year, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and continuity of service for the bottling plant.
