Kolmeks integrates VACON® drives into VS in-line pump family

Kolmeks, a pump manufacturer based in Finland with operations in China and Estonia, sought to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and controllability of its family of variable speed in-line pumps. To achieve this, they partnered with Danfoss to integrate their VACON® drive technology, specifically the VACON® 20 Cold Plate and VACON® 100 FLOW, directly into their pump systems.

The solution from Danfoss involved a close collaboration to integrate the compact, innovative cold plate design of the VACON® 20 Cold Plate for smaller pumps and the VACON® 100 FLOW for larger models. This integration provided Kolmeks with significant improvements in energy efficiency and operational reliability, leading to reduced energy consumption, lower stress on mechanical and electrical components, and decreased installation and maintenance costs. The collaboration also allowed Kolmeks to incorporate IoT options into their design process from the beginning.
