IFPS, the International Fluid Power Society, needed to update its Electronic Controls Specialist (ECS) certification to better reflect the demands of modern mobile machines and help ensure professionals had the right skills for today’s electronic control systems. Danfoss supported the effort with its expertise, drawing on its PLUS+1 mobile electronics experience.

Danfoss provided financial support and technical input to help develop the original study manual and certification criteria, and later backed the certification’s update and relaunch. The improved ECS certification now covers a broader range of electronic control topics, helping align teams on terminology and knowledge while giving customers greater confidence in the safety, efficiency, and emissions performance of the systems they buy.
