In this context, CCM assessed hydraulic suppliers, including Danfoss, as it looked for vendors better aligned with Chinese market needs.

Danfoss addressed this by localizing its approach in China, developing products based on local market requirements rather than only importing global offerings. CCM specifically highlighted Danfoss’s heavy-duty, open-circuit piston pumps, noting they were more targeted and practical for the Chinese market and not part of Danfoss’s European or American portfolios. As a result, CCM ranked Danfoss as the No. 1 hydraulic supplier of 2016 in its annual “Top Suppliers of Construction Machinery in China” list.
