A Danfoss Case Study
Banke Accessory Drives develops lithium-ion battery-based electric power take-off (ePTO) systems for heavy-duty mobile machinery, helping municipalities and contractors reduce noise and emissions. To improve its quiet electric systems and handle high-pressure, high-flow applications without overloading the battery, Banke needed a quieter pump and better control of power demand.
Danfoss provided series 45 axial piston pumps and Electronic Torque Limiting (ETL) control to optimize pressure within the available torque curve, reduce noise, and protect battery life. The solution improved fuel efficiency, productivity, and system reliability, while helping Banke customers avoid downtime and switch to electric operation earlier in the day, extending operating time by up to 10 additional hours per week.
