BrightSpring Health Services, a Louisville-based health care provider with about 50,000 employees, was looking for ways to improve the employee experience and financial wellness for its frontline caregivers. After being contacted by DailyPay, BrightSpring—which runs payroll on ADP EV5 and uses Kronos for timekeeping—chose to explore on-demand pay as a benefit to reduce financial stress and better support its workforce.
DailyPay’s on-demand pay solution was implemented with minimal internal changes, integrating with BrightSpring’s ADP and Kronos systems and pre-funding employee transfers so no off-cycle payments were required. As a result, BrightSpring saw turnover fall from 68–72% to 58.5%, application rates for open positions rise (as much as 34.7%), an immediate reduction in paper checks, lower postage and reconciliation costs, and regular average transfers of about $110—helping employees meet bills and avoid predatory lending. DailyPay’s service also simplified payroll processing and boosted employee engagement and word-of-mouth adoption.
