Hyatt Regency Birmingham — The Wynfrey Hotel faced a pandemic-driven shift that made traditional planner site visits impossible just as the property completed major renovations to 329 guest rooms and 32,000 sq ft of meeting space. With planners needing to see renovated ballrooms and quickly source new dates after cancellations, the hotel needed a better way to show event layouts, speed up communications, and win more group business.

The hotel implemented Cvent Event Diagramming, Interactive Floor Plans and CSN Productivity Tools so planners could virtually explore room setups and receive faster, more complete proposals. Results included a 13.5-hour average response time (an 18% improvement), a 151% year‑over‑year increase in RFPs, and 211 RFPs valued at over $16M from Oct 2021–Sep 2022—helping the property capture more group business and improve its competitive position.
