Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area - Customer Case Study

The Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area is a 25+-year nonprofit serving people with Parkinson’s disease. When CEO Jared Cohen joined in 2013 the organization faced years of operating losses and inefficient, manual event processes—paper registrations, transcription errors, time-consuming check-ins—and needed to scale impact without adding costly staff.

PFNCA implemented Cvent’s Event Management and Onsite solutions to automate registration, issue digital badges/QR codes, run branded websites and targeted marketing, and capture data via surveys. The result: a 100% increase in total event revenue, 37% more registrations, a 47% rise in program/symposium revenue, over $10,000 in new donations for one series, doubled overall revenue, stronger sponsorships, and a sustainable, data-driven fundraising model.
