Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter (MPINCC), the organization’s largest chapter with about 900 members and $1B in purchasing power, runs the Annual Conference & Expo (ACE) for roughly 1,300 professional event planners. Facing high expectations from an expert audience, MPINCC needed to automate planning and improve the onsite experience—eliminating long check-in lines, badge errors and outdated printed guides—while continuing to innovate without adding staff.

MPINCC implemented Cvent’s Event Cloud solutions (Event Management, OnArrival, CrowdCompass and Lead Retrieval) to streamline registration and self-service badge printing, provide a mobile app with real-time schedules and networking tools, and automate exhibitor processes. The result: lines were nearly eliminated, staff were freed for higher-value tasks, attendee engagement and networking improved, and the chapter grew its events without increasing headcount.
