Kimpton Hotel Eventi, a boutique property in Chelsea, NYC, faced a new challenge: planners increasingly couldn’t visit the property in person and were booking on short timelines, so the sales team needed a way to convey the hotel’s immersive, New York–centric event experience and respond to RFPs quickly and consistently.
By standardizing processes with Cvent tools—Cvent Supplier Network, Event Diagramming, CSN advertising and BI reports—the hotel delivered virtual tours, customizable diagrams and uniform proposals that sped responses and improved communication. The results: RFPs jumped 218% year‑over‑year (326 → 1,037), RFP value rose 164%, market share reached 16.9%, the team created 283 diagrams annually, and response performance stayed strong (99.8% response rate, 6 hr 37 min average response time).
