Kiewit Corporation is a leading North American construction, mining and engineering firm with 30 districts across multiple business segments. Company-wide meetings are critical to keeping projects on schedule, but Kiewit had no formal meetings management program, no centralized events calendar, inconsistent vendor contracts, and limited executive support—issues that caused higher cancellation fees, scheduling conflicts and poor visibility into event costs.

Kiewit implemented Cvent’s enterprise event platform (Enterprise Event Management, Cvent Express, CrowdCompass, Meetings Management Module and Cvent Supplier Network) with Concur integration to standardize processes, centralize scheduling and improve reporting. The result: a professional, branded events program that increased annual events by 455% (from 103 to 572), achieved a 55% RFP attachment rate, realized $1.1M in cost avoidance and demonstrated $2.2M in annual savings while improving efficiency and risk visibility.
