Interpoint Events, a small events team that runs more than 20 large-scale events a year, faced a growing burden from manual planning: building websites, managing registrations, email marketing and onsite administration consumed vast man-hours and stretched their two-person team. In 2008 Interpoint partnered with Cvent and adopted its event platform (including CrowdCompass and OnArrival) to automate website setup, registrations, invoicing, reporting and email marketing. The move saved about three hours a day, helped registrations more than double (1,103 to 2,332 over two years), and eliminated $20,000 in onsite management costs while enabling the team to scale their event program efficiently.
