How Starhotels partners with Cvent to boost visibility, bring in more group business, and educate their workforce

Starhotels, a family-run independent hotel group, faced the challenge of expanding beyond its Italian client base and winning more MICE business while constrained by limited international visibility and planners’ short time to assess venues. As a small boutique chain, they needed better online exposure, more visual, planner-friendly information, and staff education to convert impressions into RFPs and bookings.

Partnering with Cvent, Starhotels used CSN Advertising, Enterprise Dashboards, and Cvent Event Diagramming—alongside staff certification—to boost visibility, make data-driven decisions, and showcase photo-realistic 3D floorplans. The results included 78% more leads, a company-wide conversion rate of 7% in 2023, Rosa Grand Milano’s awarded RFP value increasing by 58% and a 22% RFP market share, more than 100 events created annually with diagramming, and enhanced listings for 12 properties.
