Fostering AAHRPP’s hybrid event success with the Cvent Attendee Hub

The Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) is a nonprofit accrediting body that runs a multi-day annual conference on human research protections. For 2022 they needed to deliver a three-day hybrid event—accommodating nearly 500 registrants, about 270 virtual and 230 in-person attendees—while managing 33 livestream and pre-recorded sessions, exhibitor booths and posters, and doing so with a small staff.

AAHRPP used Cvent’s Attendee Hub, Registration, Mobile Event App, OnArrival, and Attendee Hub 360/Event Builder services to livestream keynotes, host pre-recorded sessions, enable chat/Q&A, run virtual exhibitor booths and posters, and provide on-demand access for a year. The solution supported hybrid engagement (7 virtual exhibitors, 17 posters, hundreds of booth/poster visits), reduced exhibitor and staff workload via self-service portals, delivered strong virtual attendee feedback, and produced data-driven insights to scale future conferences and webinar series.
