Its internally developed platform couldn’t scale with rising attendance, staff were overwhelmed, and BST needed detailed attendee capture, CRM integration, self-service registration edits and credit tracking, plus tools to reduce paper and boost engagement.

Adopting Cvent (with CrowdCompass for mobile) automated CRM syncing, enabled reusable event templates (saving 10–15 hours per event) and supported a mobile app that most attendees downloaded—generating 4,700 page views, 1,500 session opens and ~700 banner clicks. The changes cut manual work, reduced paper use, drove a 10.2% attendance increase to over 2,400 at their Safety in Action conference in year three, delivered 177,000+ banner ad views, and freed the team to expand from two to four global events.
