A new hospitality concept and innovative technology put Graduate Hotels at the front of the class

Graduate Hotels is a boutique chain of 31 properties located near college campuses that brings a hyper-local, education-themed hospitality concept to each site. As a relatively new brand competing with established global hotels, the company needed to raise awareness with meeting planners and drive group and transient bookings to support rapid growth and new openings.

Graduate deployed Cvent’s platform—CSN advertising, a Group Business Webpage, Business Intelligence, transient tools, and staff Cvent certification—to increase visibility and target planners and local business accounts. The investment paid off: market share rose from 1.4% to 6.6%, the chain received 4,300 meeting RFPs in 2022 (a 90% YOY increase), business-transient RFPs grew 24%, and awarded RFP value climbed 113% year over year.
