Case Study: Palo Alto Networks achieves a consistent global culture and improved employee engagement with Culture Amp

A Culture Amp Case Study

Preview of the Palo Alto Networks Case Study

Palo Alto Networks - Customer Case Study

Palo Alto Networks, a fast‑growing next‑generation security company, faced the challenge of preserving a consistent culture and employee experience across a distributed workforce (one‑third at HQ, one‑third international, the rest remote) during rapid expansion. A Culture Amp engagement survey—personally launched by the CEO—identified two enterprise priorities: improving two‑way communication and increasing career development opportunities.

Using Culture Amp insights, Palo Alto Networks implemented concrete actions: managers were required to hold regular one‑on‑ones and team meetings, an “Ask Mark” global Q&A was introduced, and 100% of employees were required to have career conversations supported by career ambassadors, mentoring, maps, tools, and manager training. They shifted to surveying when meaningful results could be acted on, provide quarterly updates, and report sustained cultural alignment and stronger employee trust that their feedback is driving change.
