How Questrade Financial Group used Culture Amp to strengthen its leadership development

Questrade Financial Group, a fast-growing financial services company with more than 2,000 employees, needed a better way to support new and recently promoted leaders during rapid expansion. Before partnering with Culture Amp, its leadership development process was too rigid and feedback analysis took too long, making it hard to act on employee insights quickly.

Culture Amp implemented Skills Coach as a complementary leadership development tool within Questrade’s Leadership Academy, giving managers short, science-based micro-learning and peer accountability. The pilot grew into the “Learn to Lead” program and expanded across multiple teams; by the end of 2022, Questrade’s management scores reached 85% and learning and development scores 80%, both above external benchmarks, with 77 additional employees choosing the courses independently.
