How P&N Group uses diversity demographics to make data-informed employee experience strategies

Police & Nurses Limited (P&N Group), the customer-owned banking group behind P&N Bank and BCU, was working through a major customer-centric transformation while trying to build a more inclusive, high-performing employee experience. To support its employee value proposition and DEI goals, P&N Group partnered with Culture Amp to better understand engagement and belonging across different demographic groups.

Culture Amp helped P&N Group use engagement survey demographics and filters to uncover differences in employee experience, then enabled leaders to act on the findings with clearer, team-level ownership. The results included a rise in demographic survey response rates from the high 60s to 85%, up to a 20% variance identified between gender groups on topics like career development and flexible working, and a savings of at least 32 hours per month through Culture Amp’s Skills Coach tool. P&N Group also estimated it would otherwise take 700+ hours every six months to manually prepare and analyze data, showing the measurable impact of Culture Amp on time, insight, and DEI strategy.
