How iQ Student Accommodation improved engagement and realigned company values and vision with Culture Amp

iQ Student Accommodation, one of the UK’s largest student housing providers, needed a faster way to drive positive change across dispersed teams and make employee feedback easier to understand and act on. To address this, iQ Student Accommodation implemented Culture Amp in 2022 to improve engagement, participation, and alignment around company values and vision.

With Culture Amp, iQ Student Accommodation launched a more transparent, actionable survey process and used the insights to refresh its Employee Value Proposition, values, recognition framework, and behavioral framework. The results were strong: participation rose to 94% in 2023, engagement increased from 68% to 75%, and 69% of employees saw themselves still at iQ in two years’ time, up 9%. Culture Amp also helped iQ share data and corporate actions within two weeks of survey close, instead of around a month, saving time and enabling more impactful conversations.
