How Infragistics improved employee engagement

Infragistics, a global leader in design and development tools with seven offices worldwide, needed a reliable way to gather employee feedback and measure engagement when Mariana Payra became Director of Talent Development in 2016. The challenge was to avoid survey fatigue, get leadership buy-in across departments and locations, and surface actionable insights to improve career development, resource alignment and overall company culture.

They implemented Culture Amp’s engagement surveys, used its training to design a high‑participation rollout, gave managers appropriate access to results, and secured visible leadership commitment. Focus groups on top drivers produced targeted actions—refining Catalytic Coaching, improving career paths, expanding product management capabilities and instituting a Rhythm of the Business cadence—and within a year surveys were embedded in company processes, improving alignment, feedback loops, onboarding and retention planning.
