Omio, the Berlin-based travel comparison and booking platform, faced a severe post-pandemic employee experience crisis with high attrition, low engagement, and weak belonging after travel demand collapsed. To understand what employees needed and rebuild morale, Omio turned to Culture Amp for engagement surveys and insights to guide its people strategy.

With Culture Amp, Omio used employee feedback and survey data to launch new initiatives including a €5,000 referral bonus, six weeks of work-from-anywhere flexibility, sabbaticals, birthday leave, mental health support, and company-wide connection events. The changes helped Omio reduce attrition from 41% to 21% and raise engagement from 41 to 74, showing a strong measurable improvement in workforce stability and sentiment, driven by Culture Amp insights.
