Connecticut Junior Republic (CJR), a private nonprofit serving at-risk and special needs youth in Connecticut, needed a way to support its Culinary Arts and Food Services programs while keeping data secure and accessible for students. It turned to Culinary Software’s ChefTec network version to give classroom access with user rights controls.
Culinary Software’s ChefTec helped Connecticut Junior Republic streamline inventory control, purchasing, and nutritious menu planning in its Food Services Program on the Litchfield campus. The solution also exposed students to the kind of software they may use in commercial kitchens, improving training value while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.
