CSS Corp helped a large Swedish industrial equipment manufacturer modernize its IT infrastructure and improve service agility. The customer was struggling with slow time-to-market, weak business-IT alignment, and a distributed legacy environment with heavy dependence on traditional application infrastructure, scattered data across 250 SMTP domains and 250+ Domino servers, and inconsistent IT service management processes.
CSS Corp implemented a three-pillar modernization program covering workspace and collaboration tool modernization, IT infrastructure agility, and service agility enhancement. The work included migrating data from over 100 Domino servers to Microsoft Exchange Online, consolidating more than 150 Lotus Notes servers, and building ITIL-compliant systems and improved SOPs. The results included an 80% increase in first-call resolution, more than 90% CSAT improvement, a 10% increase in L1 tickets resolved, and major cost savings such as 30% lower licensing costs, 50% lower L3 support costs, and 95% lower infrastructure costs.
