CSG International deployed CSG Check Verification to proactively decline high-risk ACH payments in real time across payment channels, including IVR, call center, internet, and walk-in locations. The solution was implemented in 90 days and helped reduce ACH returns by 64%, while payment volume increased by 49%. The ACH return rate dropped from 5.41% to 3.59% immediately after deployment and was further reduced to 1.96% over eight months, significantly lowering collection costs and improving revenue protection.
