Asia Pacific Telecom (APT), one of Taiwan’s leading fixed and mobile operators, needed to grow voice and data revenue in a highly saturated, competitive market while keeping costs low. To support its high-quality, low-cost strategy and future network plans, APT turned to CSG International and adopted CSG Wholesale Business Management Solution (WBMS) along with Total Service Mediation (TSM).

CSG International implemented Interconnect for wholesale billing and Intermediate for mediation, giving APT automated settlement, better reporting, and the ability to launch new services and promotions faster. The result was stronger revenue growth, lower interconnect and mediation costs, and scalable performance of more than 25 million events per day, helping APT offer free on-net calls, the lowest off-net rates in Taiwan, and faster growth than its competitors.
