TUI.nl wanted to improve engagement and conversion on its resort pages by giving travelers more relevant, trustworthy information beyond polished destination photography. To test this, TUI worked with Crowdynews, using its automated social content aggregation and curation platform to bring real traveler-generated posts into a subset of resort landing pages.
Crowdynews delivered a real-time social stream with filtering, profanity blocking, white/blacklisting, and auto-moderation to keep the content safe and relevant. In TUI.nl’s A/B test across 88 resort listings and a million unique page impressions, the pages with social content achieved a 2.8% lift in overall conversion, 16.71% lower bounce rate, 7.11% more time on site, and a 4.76% click rate on stream items, with tablet conversions rising 13.27%.
