A mid-sized wholesale distributor (501–1,000 employees) sought to maximize the performance of its Material Handlers—staff responsible for packaging products, maintaining stock, operating equipment, and transporting materials—and wanted to improve overall employee performance and productivity.

The company partnered with Criteria and administered three assessments (CAST, CBST, WPP) to 137 Material Handlers, then compared scores to job performance, productivity, and hours to achieve productivity. Higher scorers showed clear gains: overall job performance improved (WPP +19%, CAST +11%, CBST +9%), productivity rose (CBST +16%, CAST +11%, WPP +7%), and time to reach productivity fell (CAST −15%, CBST −7%, WPP −5%), demonstrating that the combined assessments delivered major performance and productivity improvements.
