Software Company Predicts Salespeople Who Generate 2-4x More Revenue

A large, publicly traded software company wanted to improve sales performance and revenue growth across three revenue-driving roles: Account Executives, Account Managers, and Strategic Account Managers. To do this, the company partnered with Criteria Corp and used Criteria’s assessments to better identify candidates with the aptitude and personality fit needed for sales success.

Criteria Corp implemented the General Aptitude Mobile Evaluate (GAME) and the Employee Personality Profile (EPP) to study 120 employees and compare assessment scores with quarterly revenue. The results showed that higher scorers generated 2-4x more revenue, with top performers reaching $60,000 quarterly revenue for AEs, $79,000 for AMs, and $386,000 for SAMs. Based on these findings, Criteria Corp helped the company set cutoff scores and begin using the assessments for hiring decisions.
