A large insurance company (1,000+ employees) needed to improve recruiting for high-volume case manager roles by giving recruiters and hiring managers data-driven insights while creating a candidate-friendly experience to increase assessment completion rates.
The company partnered with Criteria to administer Cognify (game-based cognitive) and Emotify (ability-based emotional intelligence) and studied outcomes for over 500 case managers. Emotify scores above the 50th percentile were much more likely to be rated high performers (84% vs 16%), current employees scored about 9 points higher on Cognify and Emotify than those involuntarily terminated (combined Suitability: 56% vs 43%, +13%), and shortening assessments by 15 minutes raised completion rates from 71% to about 80% without reducing predictive value.
